AJK College is commemorating the 75th Republic Day with Swachh Bharat Abhiyan
AJK College of Arts and Science Coimbatore (Autonomous), an A+ accredited institution by NAAC, partnered with the National Service Scheme and ECO Club to organise Swachh Bharat Abhiyan — Cleaning Activities, demonstrating its dedication to social responsibility and civic involvement. This programme, which is being held in observance of the 75th Republic Day celebration, is a prime example of the college’s commitment to encouraging environmental consciousness and cleanliness both inside and outside of its community.
The AJK Campus and the nearby villages of Mavuthampathi and Navakkarai came together on January 24, 2024, to become the hub of a joint initiative aimed at creating a cleaner, greener India. AJK Campus employees and students enthusiastically took part in the cleanup projects, demonstrating a sense of civic duty and patriotism.
Reminding people of the transformational power of group action in tackling societal issues is the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. AJK College seeks to promote a culture of sustainability and environmental consciousness that goes beyond its campus limits by fostering a sense of responsibility and stewardship among its members.
By engaging in these cleaning initiatives, AJK Campus fosters a sense of community and camaraderie among its staff and students, in addition to supporting the broader national push for cleanliness. They improve their own lives as well as those of the communities they serve by becoming positive change agents who uphold the virtues of citizenship and service.
