AJK College’s Awareness Program on Government Schemes

AJK College of Arts and Science Coimbatore (Autonomous), an A+ Accredited Institution by NAAC, through its Social Entrepreneurship, Swachhata and Rural Engagement Cell (SESREC) and National Service Scheme , organized an Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) session on the benefits of government programs titled “Awareness on Govt Schemes at Pichanur School” on 01.02.2024.

Dr. Ancy Simi.N.A, Assistant Professor& Head of the Department of Commerce at AJK College, served as the resource person for the event. She enlightened the audience about various government schemes such as the small savings drive, voluntary PF, and the Atal Pension Yojana.

The purpose of the session was to create awareness among students about government scholarships and schemes. The outcome was highly beneficial, as students actively participated, gained insights, and had their doubts clarified. NSS volunteers were also actively involved, contributing to the success of the event and furthering the mission of spreading awareness about government initiatives.
