AJK College’s Pongal Celebration 2024 with Puthupathi Tribes
In a remarkable display of community involvement, AJK College of Arts and Science Coimbatore (Autonomous), an A+ accredited institution by NAAC, National Service Scheme, Tamizhaaivu Arakkattalai, and Senthamizh Arakkattalai, recently celebrated Pongal with the tribal people of Puthupathi. The event, themed “Pongattum Pongal,” took place on the 12th of January 2024.
Underlining the institution’s commitment to societal well-being, AJK College distributed new attire in the form of Veshtis and Sarees to the tribal community. The act not only showcased cultural inclusivity but also promoted a sense of togetherness.
